Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived into a musical family, 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the cousin of daughter to the singing sensation Dionne. In her early years she was a singer in the New Hope Baptist Church choir in Newark. At the age of she turned fifteen, Houston was singing professionally backing vocals with her mother for Chaka Khan's hit song in 1978 Im Every Woman. In the year 1981, she worked as a fashion model and also appeared on the Seventeen cover. She also provided the backing vocals for Lou Rawls and Jermaine. Her work as the featured vocalist of New York funk group Material was noticed by major record labels, including Arista and Arista, which she signed her contract in 1982, where she stayed the rest of her life with them. Her debut album Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and became the biggest-selling album by the debut artist. It was The Bodyguard (1996) that made her one of music's best sellers. The film and her part in it were not very appreciated, but the soundtrack as well as her version of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You were charting for months in the charts, and she sold more than 44 million albums and singles all over the world. The daughter of her mother Bobbi was born March of 1993, a year she got married to Bobby Brown. Her daily use of drugs was documented.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorperson for the CNN reporter as well as political correspondent for CNN. Her past work includes NBC, CBS and other prominent channels. She also produces some of CNN's weekends shows like Evans & Novak Late Edition and Inside Politics. Bash's awards and recognitions include being named to the Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine.
