Keerthy Yessh was born 17 October 1992 in India, is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as a handful of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead actress in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). Keerthy began working on projects that were not Malayalam in the year 2015. In addition, she signed to be a part of several Tamil films simultaneously. In 2015, she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite one another. However, the films didn't do very well in cinemas. To fit in larger projects, she was forced to pull out of films she had started working on. These comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. She consequently was involved in two projects with Sivakarthikeyan quickly, Rajini Murugan and Remo as well as playing the main part in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film's release was delayed in 2015 and now is expected to be after September 2020. The film will be released under a different title, Janakitho Nenu.
